On January 21, 2006 an American soldier was baptized in the Euphrates River while serving overseas in Iraq. Baptisms are powerful events in and of themselves, but conducting a baptism on the sacred ground of the Euphrates surrounded by hostile land dominated by Islamic Extremism is making a bold and beautiful statement.

Watching this powerful event unfold is deeply inspiring.
