I've watched many performance videos, but this definitely counts among those that have hit me the hardest. I could watch it over and over again, and it would still be as beautiful as the first time I pressed "play." The video highlights the unforgettable performance of Andrea Bocelli and Katharine McPhee singing "The Prayer" at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas in 2008. You can tell from the video just how deeply entranced the audience was by the captivating performance.

Bocelli is a singer/songwriter with a specialty in Italian opera as a tenor. McPhee is an American actress and singer; she took runner-up in the fifth season of American Idol. According to an article on Wikipedia, McPhee is most commonly recognized for her performance in the 2008 movie The House Bunny. One thing's for sure, despite the disparate backgrounds of the performers, they make an incredible duo! I hope you enjoy watching this performance as much as I did.
