Meleah Jones is no stranger to tough times. To say that her upbringing was "troubled" would be an understatement. Painful memories of being sexually abused as a child and running away from home at 12 years old remain with her to this day. However, they no longer threaten to bring her down as they might've in the past.

After Jones' parents divorced when she was five years old, her mother remarried a man that proved an unhealthy fit for the household. Jones' stepfather began sexually abusing her, which ultimately caused Jones to flee from her family and embark upon a long, painful journey, marred by drug use and drifting.

After landing in prison for the second time, Jones knew that she had hit rock bottom. At this point, she was a stripper and a single mother who seemed locked in a pattern of violence and drugs. During a fateful appointment with a Christian doctor, Jones was introduced to Jesus Christ in a way that she'd never been before. What followed is a beautiful story of God's grace and saving power.
